Courtney Wald, a graduate of the Physical Education/Education Combined Degrees program at the University of Alberta, is an Edmonton native and is in her second year as assistant coach with Pandas Soccer. Coach Wald began her post-secondary play with Grant MacEwan where she acted as an assistant captain. She transferred to the University of Alberta in her third year (2010) and played both as a center back and center mid. During her time with the team, the Pandas earned a Canada West League Title (2010), CWUAA Play-off Bronze (2010), and Silver (2011) and a CIS 5th place finish (2011).

After graduating, Coach Wald moved to Grande Prairie to teach and act as an assistant coach at Grande Prairie College. She is now working as a teacher and coach at M.E. LaZerte high school. Coach Wald is thrilled to again be a part of the Pandas program.
